What we collect
If you use the contact form, we receive the topic and message you submit. Your name and email address are optional. If you include an email address, we use it so we can reply.
Google Analytics collects information about visits and interactions, such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser information, referring pages, and timestamps. It may use cookies or similar technologies. We do not send your contact-form name, email address, or message to Google Analytics.
The site stores your selected rink and session-type filters in your browser so it can restore them on later visits. These preferences stay on your device and are not sent to us by this feature.
How we use information
We use contact messages to respond to questions, review rink and region suggestions, fix reported problems, and improve the site. We use aggregated Analytics information to understand which pages and features are useful and to maintain the site.
Services that help run the site
- Google Analytics measures site usage. Advertising personalization and Google advertising signals are disabled.
- Resend delivers contact-form messages by email.
- Railway hosts the site and may process technical request data needed to operate and secure it.

Sharing and selling
We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. Information is shared only with service providers that help operate the site, when you ask us to, or when reasonably necessary to comply with law, prevent abuse, or protect the site and its users.
Retention and your choices
Contact messages are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain useful records, and improve the site. Analytics information is retained according to the settings in the Google Analytics property and Google’s policies.
You can leave the name and email fields blank, block or delete cookies through your browser, or use Google’s Analytics opt-out tools. Because there is no universal technical standard for “Do Not Track,” the site does not respond differently to that browser signal.
External links and children
Links to rink websites and registration services lead to independent sites with their own privacy practices. SoCal Hockey Finder is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
